Seasonal Cocktail Possibilites
Hubble is more focussed on beer and for this has focussed and also doesn't offer a lot of different cocktails & mocktails if you compare it with Meteor. Cocktails are often more expensive then Meteor and the cocktails need to be made by hand.
Cocktail:
The cocktail in Hubble is calculated to contain:
2 shots + bottle of soda
For Hubble, we normallytypically think ofdesign recipes withusing 2 shots and 1 bottle of soda bottle(200 (200ml)ml). Because of this, we avoid recipes that require only part of a soda bottle, as the remaining content would go to waste.
Juices, however, are supplied from larger packs, which makes them more flexible to work with. For example, a cocktail can include 150 ml of orange juice and 50 ml of cranberry juice without any issue.
This flexibility does not apply to soda. A recipe using 100 ml sparkling water and 100 ml cassis would likely result in leftover soda that cannot be reused. Seasonal ingredient:
It is possible to ask for an additional ingredient that Hubble normally does not sell but you would like to use for the cocktail. It is not always possible to use any ingredient because our supplier needs to be selling this in order to buy it, but our supplier does have a lot of options.
Liquor:
You can use any other liquor that is not too expensive. Besides using this liqour for our seasonal cocktail, we also will be selling it as our seasonal shot so guests can buy it separately. Examples for seasonal liquor could be limoncello, Jenever, Malibu, brandy, strawberry liquor, lychee, etc.
Seasonal soda:
This could be either soda or some kind of juice. Be aware that drinks with carbonic acid, will always have to be served in 200ml bottles. This is because if we serve them from big Litre bottles, the carbonic acid will come out. Juices can come from a Littre package.
Example for seasonal soda: ginger beer, fanta lemon, ice tea peach, etc
Example for juices: Peach juice, pear juice, mango juice, etc
Seasonal syrup
In some minor occassions, we also add an extra syrup if we think it adds a lot to the drink. This is normally used for a mocktail to recreate the flavour of the cocktail. Hubble normally uses Monin as brand for their syrups that is often used for making special lattes.
